Shipping & Returns

Product Information

"Delivered" prices are quoted for UK Mainland deliveries - see the section below on shipping information for further information on this. We reserve the right to adjust prices up or down from time to time, without prior notice.

We aim to make our images as representative of the product as possible. Please note however that lighting can affect the perceived colours of images in photographs and that colours can be displayed differently from one computer monitor to another, and so the colours of products seen on the web site may therefore vary slightly from the actual product.

Some items of furniture such as side tables may require some assembly on your part.

 

Shipping Information

Delivered prices published on the site and quoted to you at the time of ordering are for specifically for delivery within the mainland United Kingdom, which you acknowledge by accepting these terms. We do not currently ship to Ireland, the Channel Islands or other destinations not included in mainland United Kingdom or Internationally.

We endeavour to ship confirmed orders within 14 days where the good(s) are in stock, though you should allow up to 28 days for delivery of your order. Some non-stock items however, where the goods are manufactured to order, can take a number of weeks (6 - 8) to be manufactured and subsequently shipped. On receipt of an order, Uber Design Ltd T/A ScS Interiors will advise the customer on a more accurate timescale, where appropriate.

Delivery shall take place via a carrier appointed by ScS Interiors and shall be a weekday delivery to your doorstep. The driver is neither obliged or insured to enter your promises, but may do so at their discretion if invited to do so by yourself.  If you have ordered heavier or bulkier items please make suitable arrangements for assistance in transporting the goods through necessary doors, corridors or stairways and that larger items will fit through such pathways. Where the item(s) are especially bulky and/or heavy we will arrange delivery via a specialist carrier and will arrange with you a convenient delivery date. This will be stated in the product description where relevant. If you are not present to accept a delivery arranged on an agreed date via our specialist carrier service, you may be liable for redelivery charges.

Our deliveries require a signature. For smaller packages, if you are unavailable to accept the delivery, the courier will leave a card detailing instructions on how to rearrange the delivery. Please note that you should document any transit damage at the time of receipt on the delivery note. Please also see our Returns Policy regarding faulty or damaged goods.

Returns Policy

We hope that you will be happy with your purchase from us. In the event that the goods you order from ScS Interiors are faulty or damaged, you shall have seven days from receipt of the goods in which to notify us in order to obtain a returns note number and follow our returns procedure as described below. As detailed in the delivery paragraph above, any transit damage should be noted at the time of receipt. Items must be returned to us within 14 days - we cannot accept returns of any items after this period.

If you wish to return goods to us, you should first contact us requesting a "Returns Authorisation Number" via our contact us form or by telephoning us, within seven days of receipt of the goods. If we agree to accept the goods back, you will be issued a Returns Authorisation Number which must be returned together with the goods. Your right to return goods does not include "bespoke orders" which have been made to your specification or to order, unless they are faulty.


Goods returned to us should be fit for resale, in original unused, unassembled and undamaged condition, and should be returned in their original, undamaged packaging. Self assembly items cannot be returned once assembly has begun. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected. We reserve the right to withhold a percentage of the refund value of returned goods if the product or packaging is in such a condition that the item needs to be reduced in price for resale. A non-refundable cancellation charge and restocking fee of up to 30% of the original cost may be applied to returned items unless they are faulty. The buyer assumes the cost of returning goods to ScSinteriors, unless otherwise agreed. In the case of products classifying for Specialist Item Delivery where the delivery and assembly service is included in the cost of the items, we are not able to refund the delivery & assembly cost, which we will have already incurred delivering the products to you.

We comply fully with the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000 ("Distance Selling Act")

 

Paying for your Order

We accept credit or debit card payments with cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Electron, Switch and Solo.

By purchasing from us, you confirm that the credit, debit or store card that is being used is yours and understand that all credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. All goods remain the property of Uber Design Ltd T/A ScS Interiors until paid for in full. In order to guard ourselves and our customers from fraud we deliver to the card holders address, which is assumed to be the one you give at the beginning of the order process as the customer's address. If there is a discrepancy between this and the cardholders address we will contact the cardholder for confirmation prior to processing the order.
